PERSONAL PROFILE

Jennifer Fong is a Los Angeles native with over 19 years of live event production experience. After years studying under industry legend Mike “The Goon” McGinley, Fong began working for Avalon Attractions/Clear Channel Entertainment/Live Nation. She has worked countless festivals as a production manager and coordinator, including eight Electric Daisy Carnivals. She has been a line producer on multiple projects for broadcast television, film, and webcast including U2’s “360”, The Suzanne Show, and the Ronald Regan Centennial Celebration. She has provided extensive work as production advance and logistics, VIP ticketing, Credentials, and security management, tour support, rider fulfillment, and contract review for many clients including Insomniac, Hard Events, LA Pride, Exchange LA. She specializes in show accounting, budgeting, production support, attendee experience management, artist and employee logistics and group sales contracting. She enjoys discussing creative solutions for practical problems and exploring live event technologies. In her spare time, she is an amateur aerialist.

ANIME EXPO 2018

Entertainment Manager

Managed and assisted all divisions under the Entertainment Group umbrella. Successful scheduling and execution of all programming, screenings, live events and live stream. Ensured seamless client service, efficient workloads, adherence to contracting and budgeting while maintaining the goal of overall attendee safety and satisfaction.

UNION NIGHT CLUB

April 2017 - August 2017

Advanced all equipment and hospitality for events in as many as 5 rooms per evening.
Scheduled staffing and submitted payroll for all engineers and stagehands.
Coordinated with general manager and security for needs from cleaning, bar staffing, security positions and special instructions. Facilitated load in, show, and load out for all events, providing necessary equipment from venue inventory, sub-rentals, and client sub-vendors.
Provided equipment cleaning and maintenance/repair on venue owned equipment.

PRODUCTION RESOURCE GROUP

April 2013 - March 2017

Scheduled all meetings with vendors and clients, arranged travel, accommodations, and transportation. Responded to RFPs and client requests for sales, acting company representative during events when CEO could not be present. Vendor manager and coordinator when multiple disciplines were represented on site. Reviewed payroll, processed expense reports, and budget forecasts. Prepared correspondence and research for new clients. Handled on-boarding for sales department. Created show budget reporting, invoicing, and show files.

INSOMNIAC EVENTS

June 2007 - August 2015

Executive Assistant to Executive Producer for EDC Las Vegas 2015. Arranged internal and external meetings and travel. Maintained contact files and submitted requests for payment deposits.
Negotiated rates and contracts for hotel group blocks and meeting rooms ($1.2M). Assisted in maintaining accurate departmental budgets and tracking of assignments. Part time artist travel and credentials manager for festivals.

LIVE NATION

January 2003 - November 2010

Advanced riders with touring personnel, arranged for staffing and sub-vendors/ sub-rentals.
Coordinated with IATSE and/or non-union labor. Negotiated catering menus, riders, other requests. Worked with box office holds and releases, submitted guest lists and distributed appropriate credentials. Prepared flash reports and show settlement.
